Coal has caught fire in Singareni open cast mines at Bhupalapally in Warangal district due to the heat wave conditions. The temperatures are ranging between 40 and 43 degrees Centigrade from the past four days, leading to the coal catching fire and emitting smoke, polluting the area. Also, chicken in poultries are hanging their heads and dying due to extreme heat, despite cooling measures by the owners. People are not stepping out after eight in the morning.
