Governor Narsimhan attended Sri Rama Pattabhishekam, performed on a grand scale, at Bhadrachalam in Khammam district. He was received with temple honours, as he entered carrying the silk clothes and pearls for the deity, on his head. Later, he witnessed the rituals that were performed by the priests amidst vedic hymns. An interpreter explained the significance of the event in Ramayana and the sanctity of Bhadrachalam pilgrim centre.
