The Andhra Pradesh government has signed two agreements in Maritime India Summit organised in Mumbai. One agreement is to set up dredging harbour at Antarvedi in East Godavari district and development of inland waterway transport between Kakinada and Pondicherry. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who attended the summit, said inland water transport will become growth engine for AP. Officials are expecting Rs 4,000 crore investments will flow into AP with two agreements.
