Communist Party of India (Marxists) (CPM) leader B.V. Raghavulu pushed aside policemen and went up the ramp to garland the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, in Prakasam district. Minister Sidda Raghava Rao and Collector Sujatha Sarma, who were supposed to come in the morning, did not appear even at 12 noon. The CPM leader, who waited for them uptil then, tried to garland the statue. But he was stopped by police. He pushed the police aside and went up to pay homage.
