Supreme Court was furious over the fact that women are not allowed in to Sabarimala temple in Kerala. How is such a discrimination be carried on, it questioned. In the light of women gaining entry in to Shani Shingaram sanctum, the SC commented that such age-old practices should be given up. It was responding to a PIL complaining against the discrimination of women from entering the temple.
