In the second phase of polling in West Bengal, miscreants tried instigate violence and terrorise the voters. There was clash between Tirunalmool and Communist Party of India (CPM) activists, at Bankur, in which five members of CPM were injured. The polticial activists also threw crude bomhs over a polling station. One person was seen carrying a pistol and walking about the streets.
