The Central government banned sale of more than 350 combination medicines. The Centre found that banned drugs manufactured by pharmaceutical companies have no medicinal value. The ban came into force from March 10. The AP State Drug Control Administration has asked stockists to withdraw banned drugs from the markets and warned to take stringent action if anyone found selling banned medicines. But, the chemists are saying it is not possible to pull out stocks immediately.
