Lawyer Surinder Tyagi, one of the attackers of JNU student Kanhaiya Kumar in court, said that he was detained but pulled strings to get away. Surinder Tyagi brazenly declared that he was exercising his fundamental duty when he attacked the student. Tyagi said that will punish anyone who wants to divide India. Asked about his reaction of police filing case against him, Tyagi said that he was ready to appear before police if they ask him to do so.
