There is a great demand for Araku Valley coffee not just in Andhra Pradesh, but coffee lovers all over. The Girijan Cooperative Society (GCC) that collects and process the coffee beans, is happy with the overwhelming response. But shortage of funds has plagued it, making it difficult to meet the demand. Even as it is expecting the government to come to its rescue, it has spent Rs. 3 crore from its own funds to secure the coffee beans and process them.
