Sakurajima volcano in South Japan erupted, sending fumes of thick, black smoke in to the air, with hot lava rolling down the mountains. There was lightning as the volcano spewed fire and hot lava. The authorities have banned entry for humans, expanding the existing no-go zone by a radius of 1.2 miles around the mountain. The volcanic eruption is second since September.
