Indefinite hunger strike launched by Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham has entered second day on Saturday. He sat on indefinite fast along with his wife at his residence in Kirlampudi demanding the State government to include Kapus in BC category. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and cabinet sub-committee members have discussed with BC Corporation Chairman on providing reservation to Kapus without doing injustice to BCs. Leaders belonging to Kapu community also sat on fast in some places to express support to Mudragada. While leaders of BC Associations also staged protests opposing quota for Kapus in BC category.
