International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON) is serving meals, including 200 gms of rice, sambar, curry and buttermilk, for just Rs. 10 to attenders of patients, who are admitted in Kakinada General Hospital. Nearly 4,000 patients, from both the Godavari districts, come to the hospital for treatment daily. The 2,000-bedded hospital performs at least 100 operations a day. As the attenders are not entitled to the hospital meals, ISKON has made this arrangement for them.
