Two children from Telangana are among the 25 bravehearts, who will be conferred the National Bravery Awards, on Republic Day, at Delhi. In fact, the prestigious Geetha Chopra Bravery Award will be conferred to 8-year-old Ruchita, from Medak district of Telangana. She is said to have saved the lives of two children by pushing them out of the school bus before it was hit by a speeding train, at the level crossing of Masaipet in Medak district, in July last. Also, 15-year-old Kilambi Sai Krishna Akhil, from Hyderabad, won the award, for saving the lives of his parents.
