22 Telugu students arrived at Shamshabad airport from USA. Students said that they were handcuffed for 24 hours by US officials in New York and later they were deported. But, Air India officials confined them for 8 hours at Shamshabad airport. Parents of students have gheraoed Deputy Chief Minister Muhammad Ali, who was at the airport, for their release. Ali spoke to Air India officials and allowed students to go their native places. Another six students were also deported and they also complained about ill-treatment by US and Air India officials.
