Telangana government is mulling strategies to solve the traffic problems in the outskirts of Hyderabad what with commuter entering the city from the far-flung regions of the city and the neighbouring districts. The government plans to make Hyderabad as Counter Magnet City. In this connection, the government plans to lay highways and build flyovers to connect four neighbouring districts, comprising 10 towns, to Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 10,000 crore. The selected towns include Gajwel, Toopran, Narsapur, Sangareddy (Medak district), Shankarpally, Chevella, Vikarabad (RR district), Choutuppal, Bhongir (Nalgonda district) and Shadnagar (Mahbubnagar district).
