Jowar (Sorghum) is not unknown in Indian kitchens. But because of readymade foods we have come to forget it. The first best thing about Jowar is that it is gluten free. Meaning it is rich in fibre and helps reduce Cholestrol, Diabetes or excess weight. It has high percentage of iron, which is good for anaemia as it improves haemoglobin rate. It can be eaten as rotis or kichidi.
