Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has requested the South Central Railway General Manager Ravindra Gupta to develop two more new railway junctions on the outskirts of city at Cherlapally and Nagulapally with heavy passenger traffic flow at Secunderabad and Nampally railway stations. KCR also asked the SCR GM to take measures for avoiding incidents like Masaipet in future. Gupta requested KCR to allocate land at Cherlapally for construction of the railway junction. KCR obliged to his request.
