Arib Fayyaz Majeed (23), a civil engineer by training, set out for what was meant to be a suicide attack on Iraq and against the Kurdish Army positions in Mosul city in August 2014. The ISIS recruiters trained him to use weapons and make IEDs. However, his three attempts to blew himself as suicide bomber failed as Kurdish fighters prevented him from carrying out his mission. He finally decided to quit ISIS after watching Islamic State group abusing women and his desire to rejoin his family.
