Fifteen hostages, who were able to read the Quran were freed, in the hotel in Mali's capital Bamako. Nearly 170 tourists and 30 staff members, have been taken hostage by suspected ISIS or Boko Haram terrorists, in the hotel. Three persons have been allegedly shot down for not being able to read the Quran, it is learnt. A majority of the hostages were presumed to be American tourists.
