Police foiled YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's indefinite fast at 4.10 am on Tuesday morning and shifted him to the Government General Hospital (GGH) at Guntur. They broke Jagan's fast at 5.20 am by injecting fluids. Police personnel led by ASP Bhaskar Rao swooped down on the fast camp and took away Jagan to GGH after doctors advised that his health condition had deteriorated. While police were shifting Jagan to hospital, YSRCP cadres obstructed the ambulance and did not allow police to shift their leader to the hospital. Earlier, police requested Jagan to call off his fast but he did not budge.
