Petrol Dealers' Association and Oil Tankers' Association have called off their strike on Thursday night after holding discussions with Transport Minister Sidda Raghava Rao. They called off their strike after Raghava Rao has assured of reducing tax on diesel after discussing with Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. Earlier, the AP government warned petrol dealers to evoke ESMA if they did not call off the strike. However, people faced inconvenience with fuel stations going on strike. Taking advantage of the strike, black marketers sold petrol for abnormal prices.
