Tension prevails in Guntur, where YSRCP chief Jagan has proposed to go on a fast, on September 26th, demanding special status for AP. As police refused permission for the deeksha quoting traffic problems and sound pollution, the YSRCP leaders are furious and blamed the AP government of creating obstacles. Even as Jagan refused to step back from his plans to go on a fast, the YSRCP senior leaders met in Guntur today to discuss further course of action. Flexis set up by the party have been removed by the Guntur municipal authorities. The municipal grounds, where Jagan planned to start his deeksha is now crowded with police.
