Ahobilam, the abode of Lord Jwala Narasimha, is nestled among the dense Nallamalai forests, where waterfalls are cascading over the hills, attracting pilgrims and tourists, even from abroad. The picturesque pilgrim centre is now alive with lively streams and bird-songs. The streams flow through the interior of the forests and merge with Krishna river at Sanghameshwar. Pilgrims from all over the country visit this shrine in Shravan month during monsoons.
