The Supreme Court postponed the hearing the case of distribution of river Krishna water between the states. The SC special bench decided to hear arguments on special leave petitions filed by the AP, Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka states. However, the Supreme Court postponed the case to September 30 as the Centre failed to fill the vacancy in the Krishna Water Dispute Tribunal. During 30 minutes hearing, the Maha government urged the SC to limit the case between AP and Telangana. However, AP government appealed to the SC to review river water allocation based on each irrigation project.
