At the outset of the Assembly session, beginning today, Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy passed an adjournment motion on the special status to AP. But Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad rejected this as the subject was coming up for discussion, as per a resolution to be passed by the government. He urged the Opposition parties to stop their protests and cooperate. Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu too urged the Oppostion members to speak when their turn comes.
