Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly has been named as the brand ambassador of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, which is going to be held in India in 2017. The 43-year-old has been appointed as social ambassador by beverage giants Coca-Cola, one of the main sponsors of the event. Sourav Ganguly will be shouldering this responsibility till 2017 as he has been signed on a three year deal. Ganguly will be replacing another former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar whose contract with the Cola giant ended last year.
