Extending support to the strike taken up by students of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi visited the campus in Pune on Friday and spoke to them. Students are on strike for the past 50 days demanding recall of the appointment of actor Gajendra Chauhan and four others in FTII. Rahul assured them of raising their issues in the ongoing Parliament session. He slammed the Modi government and the RSS by saying they were promoting mediocrity by appointing people with mediocre reputations on institutions of national repute.
