The water level in the Nagarjunsagar dam has reached the minimum level of 510.6 ft. This is the first time in the past decade that the water level has fallen to this level in the dam. Lack of rains in the upper regions of Krishna river is said to be the main reason for this. As no water is being supplied to the power house, production has stopped.
