Two devotees, including a woman, sustained severe burn injuries while they were performing fire-walking ritual at Dharmaraja temple in Srikalahasti as part of the annual Brahmotsavalu. Fellow devotees saved them from falling on the burning coal. Injured devotees were shifted to a Government hospital. However, one devotee named Subramanyam was shifted to a private hospital from the Government hospital for better treatment. Police said that they are helpless as it is related to the beliefs of devotees.
