Linking of rivers is the best solution for irrigating drought-ridden areas and improving the economy. Speaking at a function, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Godavari could be linked to Krishna and water could be diverted to Anantapur district, which is the second dry place after Rajasthan, in the country. This way agriculture could be improved there, he said. Also, there would be optimum utilisation of water resources, he observed.
