The Supreme Court on Friday struck down the special leave petition filed by TS ACB seeking the bail cancellation of the TDP MLA Revanth Reddy in cash-for-vote case. The SC bench said that objections on bail petition could have been considered if the HC had granted bail on the next day of Revanth?s arrest. It did not consider the ACB argument that they need Revanth in custody to ascertain with whom he spoke on phone in the case. The SC said that Revanth was kept in jail for one month and he was eligible to get bail.
