10,000 milk packets that were to be distributed to pregnant women, under Arogyalakshmi scheme, were stinking and contained worms. This was discovered in an inspection by regional director Rajyalakshmi, at Jadcherla, in Mahbubnagar district. The CPDO, Lakshmamma was suspended. The packets were stored for about two weeks in the office, instead of being distributed, leading to their foul smell and being attacked by worms.
