Fishermen at Kakinada began their journey into the sea again, as they expected a good harvest of fish and prawns this year. The last time they went to the sea, after two months of rest, they had to come back to the harbour as the weather turned bad. The low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, started cyclonic winds, forcing the fishermen to come back, said AP Mechanised Fishing Boat Owners' Association president P.C. Appa Rao.
