The cyclone Nanuak in Arabian Sea has hampered the advance of Monsoon in India. The Northeast monsoon had entered Kerala five days ago, but there has been no progress since then. According to IMD officials, the monsoon's progress will now depend on the cyclone. If the cyclone moves towards Oman, the monsoon will be delayed and if it changes direction and moves towards India's west coast then monsoon will progress into monsoon.
