TDP has August phobia -- fear of August month. This is because whatever crisis the TDP faced in the past, it had been in and around the month of August. The first crisis the party faced was in 1983 August, when the Congress trapped Nadendla Bhasker Rao and made him CM in the absence of NTR. Though NTR was restored as CM in 1995 August, he was forced to step down in place of his son-in-law, Chandrababu. Now again the TDP is facing the cash-for-vote case, involving its Telangana MLA, which is causing quite a bit of tension among the party leaders.
