An experts committee has been set up by the AP government to deal with 14 financial agencies that have collected deposits and not paid back to the depositors. The committee will advice the government on compensating the depositors and curbing the activities of the fraud companies. Some 14 companies including Agri Gold and Chakra Gold are among them. Based on reports from the CID that the process of lodging complaints, seizing the assets and compensating the depositors is elaborate, the government has set up the committee.
