Activists of the ABVP staged a protest in front of the Board of Intermediate Education on Monday. They denounced the TRS government's stand in encouraging corporate colleges. They raised slogans and tried to scale the office gate. The police rounded up the protesting students, dragged them and sent them away to the police station in a van. They demanded that corporate colleges should be shut down and facilities should be improved in government colleges. Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao promised to do this before elections but failed to keep it up, they said.
