Ben Underwood lost his eyesight at a tender age of three due to retinal cancer. But in spite of his blindness, he shoots basketball, goes around on a skateboard and can weave between lampposts and parked cars without seeking any help. Ben has incredibly developed an extraordinary sound technique to help him see. Like bats and dolphins he clicks to 'see' his surroundings, which is known as echolocation. His remarkable talent has got him to the notice of University of California scientists, Santa Barbara who are conducting tests on his amazing ability.
