The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has received as many as 1 lakh votes from netizens across India supporting net neutrality and opposing charges for usage of apps like Whatsapp in India. The mails are pouring in asking TRai not to impose additional charges for users users and companies to open apps faster, and slowing down the speeds to users who who don't pay. Trai on March 27 has put up a paper on its website asking users to give their views on net neutrality in India. Users can log on to www.savetheinternet.in to send an email to Trai.
