A new study has revealed that social comparison due to Facebook and amount of time spent on the social media site may lead to depression. Facebook is an effective tool for connecting with new and old friends, but some users may find themselves spending quite a bit of time viewing Facebook and in turn start comparing their life and events to the activities and achievements of their friends.
