The issue of Congress VP Rahul Gandhi's snooping incident rocked Parliament on Monday. Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad demanded the Home Minister to come to Parliament and make a statement on the issue. He remarked, "This is not a police state; India is proud of its democracy." "Is the government trying to create fear among political parties by way of such snooping," questioned Azad and said, "Rahul Gandhi is an SPG protectee and how come Delhi Police suddenly needed to know such private details, like the colour of eyes and shoe number, from the Congress vice-president?"
