Afghanistan beat Scotland by one wicket in final over to claim their first World Cup win. Electing to bowl first the did well to restrict Scotts to 210 in Dunedin. Chasing the target of 211 Afghanistan were reduced to 97-7 but Samiullah Shenwari's made 96 giving them hope. He was caught on the boundary with 19 still required, but last man Shapoor Zadran hit the third ball of the final over for four to seal victory. Scotland had earlier have done well to make 210 from 144-8, but their search for a first World Cup win is still on.
