Fifty Four pilgrims, who were stranded in a ferry near the Mumbai coast, were rescued by a daring mid sea operation by the Indian Coast Guard yesterday. The passengers had gone to visit the Someshwer Shiva temple near the Elephanta Island for Shivaratri on a local craft in the evening. While returning to the Nhava Sheva port, the vessel's engine got stuck in a mud patch. The passengers were extremely happy by the daring act of Coast Gaurds.
