Rajya Sabha has on Wednesday witnessed uproarious scenes over the discussion on Hudhud package likely to be sanctioned to AP government. Senior Congress member V H Hanumantha Rao, speaking on the issue, has alleged that PM Narendra Modi has not so far released any fund for the cyclone hit victims though he has announced Rs.1000 crore from Prime Minister's relief fund.In reply to it, the union home minister Rajnath Singh has clarified that already half of the announced package has been released and remaining will be released by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). V Hanumantha Rao has objected to it saying that PM Modi has not fulfilled his promise of releasing the fund from PM's relief fund. Instead, the Central government has been using NDMA for the purpose, he said and asked AP CM Chandrababu to raise his voice against this issue.
