Militants attacked an Army camp in Uri in Baramulla district, two days ahead of the PM Modi's visit to Jammu and Kashmir, killing 11 security personnel, including a Lieutenant colonel. In a daring early morning attack, heavily armed militants killed eight Army men and three policemen around 3.30 AM at the camp in Mohra in Uri sector of north Kashmir's Baramulla district. The army retaliated by killing six militants in the attack. The attacks have increased before the visit of PM on Dec 9, say army persons.
