Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Irrigation Minister of Andhra Pradesh, said that government is devising means of giving minimum support price and saving AP farmers by taking into account experiences form Punjab and Chhattisgarh. He requested the farmers not to sell the food grains without getting minimum guarantee price and that government is with them. "In the coming 100 days, we will be available to farmers in the market yards. All the departments will take responsibility in getting support price to farmers." he added.
