Facebook and other social networking sites have become part of everyone's life. Things have come to such a stage that it would be surprising if one doesn't have a Facebook account. However, researchers at Princeton University say that the platform will be largely abandoned by 2017. Facebook is more used as a messaging tool than a website. With the advent of messaging apps, the usage of FB is decreasing for sure. The researchers observed that the number of times the word 'Facebook' typed in Google has been decreasing. Also the desktop usage of FB has decreased and it is more accessed from mobiles.
