Nobel prize winner James Watson, who got the prestigious award for his discovery of the structure of DNA, is auctioning the gold medal he has won. Though many have auctioned Nobel prize, it would be the first time for a living recipient to sell Nobel Prize. The gold medal is expected to fetch between US$ 2.5 M and US $3.5 M. The auction is going to be done at Christie's in New York on Dec 4. Watson was awarded the medal for work in the field of physiology or medicine in 1962.
