Telangana CM KCR, reacting to MLA Akbaruddin's comments on Wakf lands in the assembly, said that it is unfortunate that the Banjaras of Banjara hills are not having land. He said that they would provide 2 acres land to the Banjara families. KCR said government is serious on the protection of the lands of Jubilee Hills Co-op society and Wakf board . He said: "If the house wants, separate joint committees for Wakf lands and Coop Society lands would be formed. For Wakf tribunal, judicial powers are vested with Centre. We have already sent some suggestion and expecting favourable response."
