Telangana chief secretary Rajiv Sharma met chief executive of L&T metro rail Hyderabad limited ,VB Gadgil on Thursday with regard to change in alignment suggested by the Telangana Government. Both the Collectors of Rangareddy and Hyderabad districts have also participated in the meeting. KCR, who held a meeting a couple of days before, asked L and T metro rail to change its alignment to protect the heritage look of Hyderabad. The government has also decided to compensate the L & T with the additional costs involved in the changes in alignment.
